Doris Mathilda Unger
June 21, 1933 — February 23, 2018
Doris Mathilda Unger of Weldon Spring, MO, passed Friday, February 23, 2018, at the age of 84. Cherished daughter of the late Kurt and Mathilda Unger; loving sister of Howard (Elaine) Unger; dear sister-in-law of Ruth Unger; and treasured aunt, great-aunt, and great,great-aunt to many.
Doris dedicated more than 25 years as a reporter then later as an editor for St. Louis Lutheran.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff and residents of Breeze Park for the care and attention Doris received during her many years as a tenant of Breeze Park. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to Breeze Park Benevolent Fund in Doris’ memory.
Doris donated her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
Doris is also preceded in death by her siblings Walter Unger and Norman Unger.
