Doris Ruth Maddock of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 86 on Thursday, June 27, 2019.
Doris is survived by her children, Christine (Jeff) Comotto and Ginger (Doug Henning) Macke; her grandchildren, Nicole (Jeremy) Collins, Natalie (Jesse) Davis, Jason (Ari) Comotto, and Nicholas Comotto; her siblings, Marcia (Bob) Hoff, Kathy (Ron) Hanggee, and Ed (Mary) Baniak; her great-grandchildren, Hank Davis, Sonni Davis, Ashley Collins, Lauren Collins, and Morgan Collins; and her dear companion, Ron Westlake. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Doris was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was married to the love of her life, the late Jason “Hank” Maddock for 52 years. Doris never knew a stranger and was a friend to all. She loved watching football, gardening, reading, quilting, and music, including playing the piano. She cherished her time at the beach in Destin, Florida and vacationing at Black River Lodge. Doris was deeply devoted to her faith, her church, volunteering, and her family. She will be missed dearly.
Memorial contributions in Doris’s memory may be made to Oasis Food Pantry in St. Charles or Hope Lutheran Church.
