Dorotha Cantwell of Wentzville, MO, was greeted in heaven by her husband, Glynn Cantwell at the age of 91 on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Irma Pierce; and her three brothers, Johnny Pierce, Donald Pierce, and Cloyce Pierce.
Dorotha is survived by her children, Debrah (Ken Burdzy) Monks and William (Mickey) Cantwell; her grandchildren, Holly (Kevin) Manwaring, Sara (Brian) Geringer, and William (Tara) Cantwell, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Grace, Norah, Jay, Grayson, Henry, Mackenzie, Hunter, and Brooklyn; her sisters, Beulah Mae Greenwood, Betty Pfeifer, Wanda (Roy) Herron, Velma Pierce, and Sandra (Steve) Fox; and her many friends, caregivers, and neighbors.
Dorotha was fond of spending time out in her garden and tending to her beautiful plants and flowers. She was an avid reader who enjoyed the quiet moments she spent curled up with a good book. Dorotha had a loving, giving spirit and always took care of others. She was a fantastic cook who treated her loved ones to countless delicious meals over the years. Dorotha could not pass up a good card game. Above everything, Dorotha treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and her entire family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
