Dorothy A. Canty

Memorial contributions may be made to SSM Hospice or to the donor's choice. Dorothy A. Canty was born to LaFraniere Chauvin and Edith Rauch Emmons in St. Charles, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her loving parents. Mrs. Canty was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Charles Bogey Hills Country Club and the St. Charles Historical Society. Survivors include two children: a daughter, Barbara C. (Robert) Gossow of St. Charles, Missouri and a son, Thomas P. (Martha B.) Canty of Chesterfield, Missouri; five grandchildren: Ellen Lockhart, Douglas Gossow, Amy VanRy, Shannon Bates and Scott Canty; six great grandchildren: Katherine Ritter, Olivia Lockhart, Charlotte Lockhart, Benjamin Geret Gossow, Cecilia Gossow and Sterling VanRy.
