When Dottie was not at Scouts, she was more than likely at one of the grandkids sporting events. She enjoyed hosting foreign exchange students and foster children. She liked working out in the yard and feeding the wildlife in the backyard. Thursdays were a special day with the girls at the Beauty College, where she would get her hair done. She would also join the girls at Golden Corral. Dottie spent earlier years volunteering at schools, including Springdale Elementary. She was also an avid member of the Lion’s Club.
