Dorothy K. Salter

Beloved wife of the late Charles W. Salter; loving daughter of the late John and Anna Schuck Kiss; devoted mother of Nancy MacDonald, Don Salter, Mark (Marianne) Salter, Joan (Kevin) DeSplinter and Lori (Marty) Millam; dear sister of Beatrice Eggert and sister-in-law of Dorothy Fischbach; cherished grandmother of Brad, Blake, John, Robyn and Tim Salter, Katie and Eric DeSplinter, Aaron Millam and ''Sadie '' and ''Pearl'' McDonald. Mrs. Salter was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit #312. She served as Unit 312 President, 9th District President, Department President of the State of Missouri 89-90. She was involved in the Missouri Girls State Program on the Unit, District and Department level for many years. She was employed by the Crows Nest (ladies clothing store) in St. Charles, Missouri. She also worked in a munitions factory in Chicago during World War II and was employed by ACF Photo Lab before she was married.
