Dorothy L. “Andi” Niemeyer

Dorothy L. “Andi” Niemeyer (nee Anderson), age 90, of O’Fallon, Missouri, August 7, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Harley C. Niemeyer; cherished daughter of the late Hemming C. and Zora May Anderson; devoted mother of Kathleen Meyer and her husband, Louis, Jr.; loving grandmother of Natalie (Craig) Skyberg, Melissa (Scott) Handlan, Tiffany (Nicholas) Kuhn, and Louis (Brittany) Meyer III; treasured great-grandmother of Blake Weber, Tyler Beilsmith, Rachel Skyberg, Abigail Kuhn, Jenna Handlan, Madelynn Kuhn, Dylan Handlan, Nicholas Kuhn, Jr., Ellie Meyer, Lexie Meyer, and Baby Handlan; and dear sister of John (Gloria) Anderson and Clara Crutchfield.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond Anderson and Vera Raka, and her brother-in-law, Andrew J. Crutchfield.

Andi was a longtime parishioner of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in O’Fallon, Missouri. She gave generously of her time to others for 22 years as a volunteer at Barnes Jewish-St. Peters Hospital. In her free time, Andi enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her wonderful family. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
