Beloved wife of the late William Hales; loving mother of Barbara Hill (Virgil), Patricia Stroker (Jerry) and Lester Sutton; dear stepmother of William, James and Kathy Hales; beloved grandmother of James Hill, Stacey Hill-Himmes and Stacey Burkett; great grandmother of Noelle Joy Himmes, twins Michael and MacKenzie Hill, Sarah Smith, Brittany Wilkerson, Joseph Burkett Jr., Brianna Burkett and Tyler Brown; dear sister of Delores Sortor. Mrs. Hales was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Parish, Kansas City, Missouri. She was a frequent volunteer worker including volunteering at the Pacific, Missouri prison and also tutoring children in reading.
