Dorothy Lee Benigno (nee Otis), of Florissant, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the age of 96. Beloved daughter of the late Henry Otis and Lenora Pyle; devoted mother of Sal (Kathy) Benigno, Pat L. (Wally) Obremski, and Mike Benigno; cherished grandmother of Mike (Jane) Benigno, Sheryl O'Toole, Ron Martin, Mike (Heather) Obremski, Tina (Bobby) Pilla, Kris (Chuck) Zieres, Dominic (Devin) Benigno; treasured great-grandmother of 14; and loving great-great grandmother of six.
Dorothy loved playing golf and has several trophies. She belonged to Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, MO and Sunset Hills Country Club in Edwardsville, Il. She opened her own business in 1951 called “B&B Bookkeeping and Taxes.” Dorothy was a very fun person to be around and loved to spend time with her beloved family. Dorothy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Dorothy's name to Evans Scholarship Foundation.
