Dorothy M. DeBres

Dorothy M. DeBres of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Debres Jr.; her son, John (survived by Connie) DeBres III; her parents, Hyland and Margaret Peterson; and her siblings, Hyland Peterson, Thelma Stinnett, June Adrian.

She is survived by her children, Wanda (Larry) Donnelly and Pamela (Karl) Roberts; her grandchildren, Jaimee, Shannon, Devin, James, Jarrett, Cody, Michael, and Sean; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, James and Dylan, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Dorothy was a devout Catholic who donated much of her time to her church. She had a selfless, loving spirit, and served as a caregiver for her beloved husband, John, for years. Dorothy was fond of spending as much time as she could outdoors and was proud of the beautiful yard she landscaped. For fun, Dorothy liked to spend time with family and neighborhood friends, or watch one of her favorite shows on television.

Above everything, Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother who would do anything for her family. Her kind, generous, and selfless personality made her a source of strength to rely on for all. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorials may be made in Dorothy's name to Caregivers Inn of Dardenne Prairie.
