Dorothy M. “Dottie” Haight

Dorothy M. "Dottie" Haight, of St. Charles, MO, died peacefully at home on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the age of 89. Loving wife of John W. Haight; beloved daughter of the late George and Marie Heimburger; sister of the late Bud and Olga Heimburger and loving grandmother of the late Drew Daller. Loving mother of Gary (the late Elizabeth) Batteiger, Steve (Shirley) Batteiger, Kathy (Alan) Bull and John (Ronda) Haight; cherished grandmother of 14; great-grandmother of 8; great-great-grandmother of 1; proud aunt of many nieces and nephews; friend to many. Dottie worked at Small Arms during World War II and was a bus driver and head of transportation at Orchard Farm School District for over 30 years. She lived life to the fullest and taught her children and grandchildren that nothing was more important than family, no challenge was too great, no favor refused and everyone else's comfort and well-being was always more important than her own. She will be missed by all who knew her and welcomed by those who have gone before her. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veteran's.
