Mound, Dorothy M. (nee: Jungermann), of St. Charles, MO, died on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Woodrow Mound; cherished daughter of the late Clarence and Leora Jungermann; devoted mother of James (Dot) Mound; loving grandmother of Beverly Pinault, Laura Mound, Janet (Michael) Cozzoni, and Sharon (John) Henthorn; treasured great-grandmother of Nicki, Abby, Alyssa, Benjamin, and Andrew; dear great-great-grandmother of Gauge; loving sister of Alice Benne, Edith Benne, Charlotte (Willard Lee) Allen, Fred (Angie) Jungermann, Anna Lee Boehmer, and Earl (Charlyne) Jungermann.
Dorothy owned and operated Central Beauty Shop for over 40 years. She continued to style hair at Spencer Place until the age of 82. She was an active member of Fairmount General Baptist Church. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, quilting, planting flowers, cooking, and baking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Dorothy was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
