Dorothy Burkemper

Dorothy Burkemper, of St. Charles, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late Urban Burkemper; dear daughter of the late Edgar and Beatrice Zerr; devoted mother of Diane Frederick, Donna (Michael) Meyer, and Delores 'Dee Dee' Burkemper; cherished grandmother of Laura (Mark) Coffey, Matthew (Sarah) Frederick, and Kristen (Alex Johnson) Frederick; treasured great-grandmother of Alyssa Roberts, Ashley Roberts, Andrew Roberts, Devin Coffey, Austin Frederick, and Madilyn Johnson; dear sister Betty Hahn, Edgar (Jean) Zerr, Carol (John) Kruetzer, Robert (Elke) Zerr, and the late John Zerr. She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends
Dorothy was an operator for Southwestern Bell for many years before she retired. She was also a devoted member of St. Peter Catholic Church, VFW 4219 Ladies Auxiliary, and American Legion #312. Her greatest passion in life was her family whom she loved deeply. She will be missed by all who knew her.
