Dorothy May Sherwood (nee Peters), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of A. Dean Sherwood; cherished daughter of the late Edward and Dena Peters; devoted mother of Doug (Kim) Sherwood, David (Stacy) Sherwood and Nancy (Bill) Simmons; loving grandmother of Kyle (Kelsey) Sherwood, Nick Sherwood, Robbie Sherwood, Austin Sherwood, Adam Simmons, and Sarah Simmons; dear sister of the late John Peters; Dorothy is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dorothy loved traveling, gardening, and puzzles of all kinds. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and always looked forward to family get togethers. Dorothy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
