Dorothy McNeill of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 96 on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter P. Anderson; her second husband, James F. McNeill; her parents, Robert and Ethel Crounk; her siblings, Wanza Crounk, Charlotte Rigsby, and James Crounk; and her step-grandchildren, Pat Taylor and Lon Taylor.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Phyllis L. Boorsma, Donald G. (Kay) Anderson, and Ronald E. Anderson; her grandchildren, Devran Boorsma, Jeremy (Caroline) Boorsma, Darren (Julie) Anderson, Cymberly (Stephan) Porter, and Kevin (Wendi) Anderson; her siblings, Beverly Maes and Bonnie Piccione; her step-grandchildren, Lynne (Gary) Foster and Robin (Pam) Taylor; and her thirty-four great-grandchildren and thirty-seven great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a long-time resident of Monte Vista, CO. She moved to Missouri in 1973. Dorothy enjoyed staying active in her community through her memberships with many local organizations. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, Royal Neighbors of America, a leader in 4-H, and a Cub Scouts Den Mother. Dorothy was very talented with projects around the home and was known as an accomplished seamstress and furniture refinisher who made fine draperies. For much of her career, Dorothy worked as a cook in the healthcare industry. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
