Dorothy Soval Knapp

Dorothy Selma Knapp, (nee Soval) of Webster Groves, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the age of 97. Loving wife of 67 years to the late Martin Edward Knapp; beloved daughter of the late Walter and Anne Soval; devoted mother of Sharon Knapp and Denise (Daniel) King; cherished grandmother of Stephen (Diana) Knapp, Brian (Christina) Knapp, David (Beth) Knapp, Nicholas King, and Danielle (Aaron) Brown; treasured great-grandmother of Taylor, Tyson, Lauren, Jonathan, and Ezekiel. Dorothy is also preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Boyd (Diana) Knapp.

Dorothy had a great zest for life. She was a woman that could make anyone smile and her laugh was contagious. Dorothy was a huge St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. She loved watching sports and went to many of her grandchildren’s sporting events. Dorothy was very family oriented and cherished all the moments spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. There was always a “party” at her house when her grandchildren and great grandchildren came to visit. Dorothy was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who never met a stranger. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
