Dorothy "Sue" Mattingly

Dorothy “Sue” Mattingly (nee Suter), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Donald Mattingly; cherished daughter of John E. and Dorothy Wilma Suter. Devoted mother of Greg (Nancy) Mattingly and Lisa (Mark) Norwine; loving grandmother of Samantha (Tyler) Lockhart, Joe (Olivia) Mattingly, Eric (Breanna) Norwine, Laura Norwine, and Ben Norwine; treasured great-grandmother of 7; dear sister of Jack Suter and Maryanne Tilton. 

Sue and Don shared a remarkable 65 years, 6 months, and 2 days of marriage, embodying a loving and supportive partnership that served as a shining example of devotion. Sue was a dedicated wife and mother who poured her heart into her family. A voracious reader, she also displayed a renaissance spirit, embracing various creative pursuits such as painting, crafting, sewing, and working with her hands. Sue had a passion for travel, embarking on numerous adventures with Don, and found joy in playing bridge with friends. Her vibrant interests and talents enriched the lives of those around her. Sue was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
