Dorris F. Gossett

Gossett, Dorris F., of O’Fallon, Missouri (formerly of Ferguson, MO), died on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the age of 92; dear husband of the late Josephine L. Gossett; dear son of the late Alfred Lee and Oda May Gossett; devoted father of Dennis L. (Pamela) Gossett and Mary Ellen (William) Adams; beloved grandfather of Meredith (Eric) Rowley, Monica (Michael) Hooten, Nicholas (Miranda) Gossett and Zachary Gossett; great-grandfather of Jackson Rowley, Wyatt Rowley, Preston Hooten, Logan Rowley, Camden Hooten and Cohen Rowley; dear brother of, Betty Ann Cole and John Richard Gossett. He is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Curtis Lee Gossett, Dennis Jackson Gossett, Norma Jane Chism and Lois June Duncan. He was employed as a Carpenter with Carpenters Local 1596 with the St. Louis Stair Company and Able Construction. He enjoyed woodworking and sporting events. Memorials may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
