Dr. Andrew Timothy David

Andrew Timothy David of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 45 on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Karl David.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Marcia David, and other relatives and friends.

Dr. Andrew David was a full-time veterinarian at Webster Groves Animal Hospital & Urgent Care Center. Originally from Florissant, MO, Dr. David grew up with a love for animals. He graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia in 1998 with a BS in Biology and went on to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated in 2002. In 2012, Dr. David graduated with a PhD in Veterinary Pathobiology from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine where he also worked in veterinary research. His professional interests include pathology and infectious diseases.

Andrew had 4 domestic short-haired cats, litter mates Holmes & Watson and mother and daughter, Mama and Annie. He truly had a love for animals – both cats and dogs. In his free time, Andrew was fond of traveling internationally, enjoying spicy foods, sampling craft beers, and woodworking. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Andrew's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter or the American Heart Association.
