Keough, Dr. Joseph F., Chiropractic Physician of St. Charles, Missouri, born August 12, 1920, New York City and died on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the age of 90. Dearest husband of Hazel Belle Keough nee Belle Lutz; dear son of the late Joseph F., Sr. and Anna Marie Keough, proud father of Dr. Kevin (Silvia) B. Keough, Geoffrey B. Keough, James J. Keough, Victor A. (Annie) Keough, Sean M. Keough, Kerry C. Keough, Judy J. (Jeff) Cummings and Colleen M. Kisla; beloved grandfather of 30 and great-grandfather of 18; dear brother of William F. Keough and the late Gerard Keough. He began practice in Richmond Hill, N.Y. in 1948. Moved to St. Charles in 1950 and has been in practice since 1940/41. He enlisted in the Reserve U.S. Army Medical Supply Depot in Brooklyn, N.Y. and began active duty at Fort McClellen, Ala. Infantry Basic Training, in 1943 he left U.S.A. for England with First Army. In 1944 he was assigned to Advance Section C.Z. June 1944 thru May 1945 he saw action in 5 major battle campaigns, Normandy Invasion, Battle of Northern France, Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge), Rhineland and Central Europe. May 8 thru Nov. 1945, he served in the Army of Occupation Europe. Nov. 15, 1945, he was Honorably Discharged. Dr. Keough graduated from Palmer College, 1948, Logan College, 1950 and opened his office in St. Charles, MO in 1950. Dr. Keough was a member of the Missouri State Chiropractic Association, Life Member of the Jesuit White House Retreat, Founding member of the St. Charles S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A (Ambassadors of Harmony), American Legion Post 312, Life member of the Normandy Veterans Association, Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge and V.F.W. Post 2866; Past All State Commander and in 1993 a Member of Missouri All American Team Commanders Post Quartermaster for 15 years. Memorials may be made to Disabled Veterans Association or Ambassadors of Harmony.
