Dr. Otto K. Thiele, Sr.

Dr. Otto Kenneth Thiele, Sr. of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the age of 96. Beloved husband of 65 years to Betty Juanita Thiele; devoted son of the late Otto Hugo and Helen Lena Thiele; loving father of Otto Kenneth (Natalie) Thiele, Jr. and the late Mark Roger Thiele; cherished grandfather of Otto K. (Jovanna) Thiele, III, Nicholas A. Thiele, Matthew (Deanna) Thiele, and Jennifer Taylor Thiele. 

Otto proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He was a man of faith and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles for 65 years. Otto was a General Surgeon for 36 years and a member of the American Medical Association. He was very proud of his German heritage and spoke the language fluently. In his free time, Otto loved to travel, play tennis, go fishing and spend time with family and friends. Otto was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

Memorials may be made in Otto's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
