E. Dale Harper

E. Dale Harper, of Hixson, TN, died on Monday, December 19, 2016, at the age of 70. Loving husband of Patricia Harper; beloved son of Lucille Harper and the late Harry Harper; devoted father of Steven E. (Denise) Harper and Mark E. (Carrie) Harper; cherished grandfather of John E. and Lucy Harper; dear brother of Shirley Harper Benton, and Janet Harper (Stanford) Straw; brother-in-Law of Lilburn Dotson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Junior (Audrey) Harper, sister, Joyce Harper Dotson, brother-in-law, James L. Benton.

Dale was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting antiques, sailing, riding his “motorcycle”, and spending time with his wonderful grandchildren. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
