Earl “Chris” Ike

Ike, Chris, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the age of 46. Dear son of the late Earl A. and Valerie Ike; loving husband of Jill Ike; cherished step-father of Mindy Herter; dearest brother of Mary Rose Ike, Lois (Heinz) Wimmer, Patricia Ike, and Susan Ike Jones; dear uncle of 15 and great-uncle of 9; dear son in-law of Jim and Nancy Erlinger; and dear brother-in-law of Jim (Susie) Erlinger and John Erlinger. Chris was a nose guard on the Ohio State Buckeye Football team. In high school he was a Standout All State Football player, where his passion for playing football truly began. Later on in life, Chris became a Corrections Officer with the St. Charles County Police Department, where he has served the past 10 years. He also became a Master Mason with the Rose Hill Lodge of Creve Coure and the Shriner’s. He was a member of the American Legion (SAL) Post 312 in St. Charles where he served as Sergeant of Arms and the Legion Riders Post 312 of St. Charles.
