Earl Joseph “Red” Brinkman, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at the age of 93. Loving husband of the late Margaret Mary Brinkman; beloved son of the late August and Helen Brinkman; devoted father of Robert J. (Christine Marie England) Brinkman, and Thomas (Sandra) Brinkman; cherished grandfather of Nicholas (Amelia) Brinkman, Breanna (Jacob) Flynn; treasured great-grandfather of Aaden Brinkman and Carter Dube; beloved uncle and friend. Red is also preceded in death by his siblings, Gus Brinkman, Ed Brinkman, and Helen Krystynak.
Earl proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Master Sargent during the Korean war. Earl was employed as a Loss Prevention Engineer at the Olin Corp. in East Alton, IL until his retirement in 1988. Earl was a member of Immaculate Conception of Dardenne Catholic Church, where he was also a member of the Friends Club. Earl and his wife, Maggie loved to dance and were members of the St. Louis Promenaders Square Dance Club in St Louis for many years. Earl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
