Earl Renken, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Catherine Gaylene Renken; devoted father of Mark (Lori) Renken, Bob (Kerri) Renken, Scott (Amy) Renken and Tom (Melanie) Renken; loving grandfather of Jonathan (Kara) Renken, Kyle (Amber) Renken, Molly Renken, Haley Renken, Emily Renken, Cole Renken, Lexi Renken and Charlie Renken and great-grandfather of Beckett, Blakely, Everly, Lucy, Makenna and Maisy; brother and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Edna Renken.
Earl was a proud United States Army veteran. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a founding member at Bogey Hills. Earl and his two brothers owned and operated Renken’s Thriftway for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and they were very important to him.
Earl had many hobbies throughout his life. He liked golfing and woodworking. He loved antique cars and restored one that is still in a museum to this day. He enjoyed all kinds of music and sharing it with his family.
Earl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Earl's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church – St. Charles.
