Earl Richard Cullom

Earl Richard Cullom, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the age of 84. Loving husband of the late Ruth I. Cullom; beloved son the late Earl K. and Cecilia M. Cullom; devoted father of Cindy (Jerry) Syberg, Gary (Vicki) Cullom, Susan (Doug) Wilmes and Karen (Michael) Varney; cherished grandfather of Cassie (Pete Chilcutt) Western, Joshua (Jaimie) Wilmes, Allyson (JJ) Kinnevan, Emily Wilmes, Joseph Varney, Jacob Cullom, and Stephanie Cullom; dear brother of Robert (the late Lillian) Cullom; devoted loving companion of Dulcie Couillard; beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Earl was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sara Beth Varney; grandson, John Michael Varney; and sister, June Martin.

Earl proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of American Legion Post # 312, First United Methodist Church St Charles and the St. Charles Optimist Club. Earl was a lifelong resident of St. Charles, Missouri and worked for the City of St Charles Building Department as a Building inspector for over 20 years. He was a very caring and loving family man. Earl had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed being on the water and instilled the love of boating to all his family. Earl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Earl's name to St. Louis Children’s Hospital or the Children’s Miracle Network.
