McAtee, Edith Lucille, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the age of 87. Born in Kansas City, Missouri into the loving home of Lee and Margaret Havener, Edith was the last surviving of 5 children; Wallace, Margaret Doris and Charles. She grew up in St. Louis and as a young women she worked for Monsanto and later National Rejectors. She met her beloved husband Stephen at the age of 14 and they were married 5 years later. She raised 5 children, was devoted to her husband, served her church and loved the Lord.
Edith McAtee, devoted mother of Diana (Scot) Land, Donna (the late Terry) Gregory, Stephen (Kristal) McAtee, Bruce (Irene) McAtee and Matthew McAtee; cherished grandmother of Gabriel (Jonathan) Sovereign, Rachel (Joseph) Alm, Rebekah (Stephen) Kreiger, Chelsea (Sean) Gorman, Chanelle (Josh) Stallings, Tyson (Alyshia) McAtee, Amanda, Christian, Colton, Grace, and Emily McAtee; treasured great-grandmother of Rose, Chase, Emma, Arron, Edmond and many more to come.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Grace Community Chapel.
