Edith Naomi Shave

Edith Naomi Shave, of Weldon Spring, MO, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Friday, September 13, 2024. 

Edie, daughter of Louis and Alta (Cross) Engel, was born on August 14, 1938, in Whitehouse, Ohio. She married Ken, who was career military where they moved 14 times during his time in service. She lived and raised her family in different states all the way from the East Coast to Alaska. 

Edie is survived by her son, Scott Shave; her daughters-in-law, Mary Shave and Susan Shave; her grandchildren, Haley (Bobby) McArthur, Kimberly Shave, Stuart (Alex) Shave, Stephen Shave, and Sarah Shave; and her three great grandchildren, Emmitt Dunic, Charlotte McArthur, and Hudson Shave. She is preceded in death by her son, Doug, and her husband, Ken. 

Edie’s love for life was contagious and she always made those who got to know her feel loved. She loved playing the accordion, organ, and piano. She also was an avid bowler. She always made people happy whenever she played one of her musical instruments! She loved her grand-doggies and grand-kitty. Her greatest love was her family (her husband, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids). 

Edie is now reunited with her son, Doug, and her husband, Ken. They are rejoicing in heaven now. She is our newest angel!
