Edith Terril

Edith B. Terril, 92, died peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Edith entered the world June 24, 1915 in Springfield, Illinois. Her parents were Charles U. Butler and Edith A. Butler. She married Harry Terril October 8, 1938 in Springfield, Il. She is pre-deceased in life by her husband Harry, her sister Lillian, her brother Charles and her sister Helen. She is survived by her six children, Suzanne DeLay (Troy) of Jacksonville, IL, Terry Terril (Margarita) of Tampa, FL, Michael Terril (Sue) of Springfield, IL, Thomas Terril of St. Louis, MO, Joseph Terril (Sally) of St. Louis, MO and her very special daughter, Trish Terril, of St. Louis, MO. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Among several surviving nieces and nephews are William and Charles Pennell of Springfield, IL. Edith will be remembered for her wonderful hospitality, opening her house to many family members and friends and welcoming all. "You have no control over your birth or control over your death.
