Edna Mack, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the age of 88. Precious daughter of the late Pete and Velma Cowan; devoted mother of Kim (Sara) Higgins, Brian “Kent” (Linda) Higgins and Lori (Kevin) Brockgreitens; loving grandmother of Courtney Higgins, Christopher (Lacey) Higgins, Shane (Brittney) Weber, Emily (David) Carley, Audrey Brockgreitens and Matthew Higgins and great-grandmother of Brody, Kellan, Harrison, Hudson and Jude; loving aunt and friend to many.
Edna is preceded in death by both her first husband, Richard Higgins as well as her second husband, Marlin Mack and siblings, John Cowan, Charles Cowan, Margaret Roche, Ruth Meade and Fern Sanchez.
Family was most important to Edna. Her greatest accomplishment in life were her children. She was very supportive of her family and friends, and they could always count on her to be there for them. Edna was open and welcoming to everyone; she embraced them all.
Edna was a very strong and independent woman. She loved to travel and did so often throughout her life. She even lived in several countries and states. She loved music; she liked to sing as well as dance. She also enjoyed bowling. She was an excellent cook and loved to cook her specialties for her family and friends.
Edna was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Edna's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or American Heart Association.
A memorial service will be held a future date.
