Edward "Butch" Kientzy, Jr.

Edward “Butch” DeSales Kientzy, Jr., of Winfield, MO, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the age of 77. Beloved son of the late Edward D. Sr. and Mildred J. Kientzy; devoted father of Jim (Cindy) Kientzy, Sherri (Ben) Nation, and Paul Kientzy; cherished grandfather of Amanda, Josh, Dustin, Jordan, Nathan, Shane, and Abby; treasured great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Mary Arconati, Diane Jones, Dan Kientzy, and Debbie Donahay.

Butch proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a quiet and simple man, but he had a heart of gold. He would help and care for those who needed it most. Butch was one man his family and friends could count on without fail.  He enjoyed tinkering around the garage and owned a small engine repair shop. Butch was an awesome and very patient man. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Butch’s name to Mission 22 or the Wounded Warrior Project.
