Edward Cameron Ahlheim, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the age of 84. Loving husband of 56 years to Mary Ellen Ahlheim; beloved son of the late Walter and Mae Ahlheim; devoted father of Jack (Sandy) Ahlheim, Steve (Laura) Ahlheim, Lucy (Chris) Rimsky, and David (Christine) Ahlheim; cherished grandfather of Michael (Kelsey) Ahlheim, Justin Ahlheim, Rebecca Ahlheim, Grant Ahlheim, Mia Ahlheim, Luke Rimsky, Ellie Rimsky, Jacob Rimsky, Maggie Ahlheim, Nick Ahlheim, and Sarah Ahlheim; treasured great-grandfather of Liam Ahlheim; dear brother of Charlotte (the late Joseph) LaVenture and the late Patricia (Al) Schulte.
Edward attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he received a bachelor’s in Business Administration. He then graduated from St. Louis University with a Juris Doctorate, and he passed the Missouri Bar in 1967. Edward was a member of the Missouri Bar Association, St. Charles County Bar Association, and Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He was also a member of the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.
Edward was a devoted man of faith, and a parishioner at St. Cletus Catholic Church for 43 years. He was a member of the Board of Trustees at Academy of Sacred Heart, and a member of the Daily World Missionaries.
Edward was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his family, and he helped to mold his children into the wonderful adults they are now. He enjoyed taking vacations with his family and making beautiful memories.
Edward was an avid golfer, and former member of Bogey Hills and Old Hickory where he could be found at least once a week. He loved to travel all over the United States and Europe with his wife. He also loved the outdoors and going for nice long walks.
Edward was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorial contributions may be made in Edward's name to
Academy of Sacred Heart in St. Charles or
St. Vincent DePaul at St. Cletus Catholic Church.
