Dear son of the late Edward C. Hingle, Sr. and Florence T. Hingle; loving husband of the late Dorothea R. Hingle; dearest father of Edward (Sharon) Hingle III, Carolyn (Bill) Shaffer, Gale (Kraig) Butts and Richard Hingle; beloved grandfather of Kevin (Sue) Hingle, Craig (Katie) Hingle, Michelle (David) Leist, Scott Hingle, John and Stephanie Shaffer, Dan and Stephen Butts; great-grandfather of Thomas and Ryan Hingle, Matthew, Jack and Emma Hingle, Jared and, Jacob Leist; dear brother of John Hingle. He is preceded in death by great-grandchildren, Emily and Molly. Mr. Hingle was a Comptroller with Continental Can Company for 35 years and was a member of St. Peters Evangelical UCC.
