Edward Charles Gieskieng

Memorial contributions may be made to The American Red Cross. Beloved husband of Corene O. Gieskieng for 59 years; loving father of Linda Beebe (Charles); dear brother of Robert W. (Arlene) and the late Everett N. (Ann) and Ethel L. Gieskieng; proud grandfather of Lisa Friebel (Bill Jr.) and Gregory Joslin (Toby) and great-grandfather of Hannah Elisabeth and William Edward Friebel; preceded in death by parents, Edward H. and Nola Z. Gieskieng. Mr. Gieskieng proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years. He retired after working 20 years for the McDonnell Douglas Corporation. Mr. Gieskieng served as a U.S.O. Volunteer at Lambert St. Louis International Airport for 20 years where he was also a member of the Fleet Reserve Branch #267. He volunteered for the American Red Cross and was a member of the The First United Methodist Church, The First Capitol Square Dance Club, and The A.A.R.P.
