Edward “Ed” Jankowski

Jankowski, Edward “Ed,” of St. Charles, MO, died on Friday, February 26, 2016, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of forty-five years to Janice Jankowski; cherished son of the late Edward and Elsa Jankowski; devoted father of Jennifer (John) Feldmann and Patrick (Ann Marie) Jankowski; loving grandfather of Samuel Jankowski; lifelong best friend of Ann (the late Jim) Hofer.

Ed proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After his honorable release, he graduated the police academy and began work as a police officer for Bellefontaine Neighbors and Jennings Police Stations, before getting into the private sector where he worked for over thirty years and never really retired. Ed enjoyed visiting the Lake of the Ozarks, reading, and comedy movies (especially those of Mel Brooks). His greatest joy was spending time with his family and dear friends. Ed will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
