Edward “Ed” Kilgariff

Kilgariff, Edward “Ed” of O Fallon, MO, formerly of Mt. Laurel, NJ, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Violet M. Kilgariff; cherished son of the late Andrew and Catherine Kilgariff; devoted father of Jeff (Anne) Kilgariff and the late Gregory J. Kilgariff; loving grandfather of Greg Kilgariff of O’Fallon, MO, Jason Kilgariff and Ryan Kilgariff of Poughkeepsie, NY, Christopher (Laura) Hammock of O’Fallon, MO, and Heather (Scott) ScarBorough of O’Fallon, MO; treasured great-grandfather of Logan and Emily Hammock, Devan Richter, and Stephanie (Morgan) Gilbert; dear great-great-grandfather of Serenity. Ed was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Joan Kilgariff, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Ed served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked for A&P and Super Fresh Grocery for 45 years until his retirement. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to give their heartfelt gratitude to Sister Ann Marie, Alina Adams, and Beverly Anne Banks of the SSM Hospice team.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SSM Hospice.

A mass will be held at Monsignor Michael Mannion’s rectory located at 4824 Camden Ave. Pennsauken N.J. at 9:00 AM on the 5th of October. The funeral will take place at Mt. Carmel cemetery Moorestown N.J. at 10:30 AM following the service.
