Edward Hyde

Hyde, Edward, of St. Peters, Missouri, died Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the age of 85.Beloved husband of the late Mabel Hyde; cherished son of the late Charley and Musie Hyde; devoted father of Brenda Hyde and Teresa (Tom, Jr.) Rey; loving grandfather of Bethie Rey and Nicholas Rey. He was also survived by his nieces, Nina, Norma, Linda, Marilyn, as well as other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tilford Hyde, Malcolm Hyde, Vincel Hyde, and Eddie Hyde, his twin who died at birth, and sisters, Ada Sims and Bertha Stone.

Edward proudly served his country in the Korean War with the United States Marine Corps. He graduated in the top 5% of his class from Mizzou. He was an animal lover, who loved caring for all animals. Edward enjoyed cooking barbeque, and reading mystery novels. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
