Courtaway, Edward J., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the age of 86. Dearest husband of Virginia Courtaway; dear son of the late Fred T. and the late Lucille Courtaway; loving father of Tom Courtaway and Pat (Michael) Trask; cherished grandfather of 3. He was self-employed as a real estate and an insurance agent at CtH Building and Realty and was a member of Ritenour Optimist Club and the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
