Edward J. Henke Jr.

Edward J. Henke Jr. (78) of Winfield, MO died Thursday June 11, 2020. Born February 9, 1942 in Florissant, MO. He was the son of the late Edward Sr. and Catherine Kloppenburg Henke. He was a 1960 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. On February 13, 1965 he married Mary Ann Goeke who survives of the home. Ed worked as a union carpenter for 43 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Old Monroe, MO. Ed was an avid gardener and loved to be outside working on his farm. In addition to his wife, Mary Ann, he is survived by three sons, Reverend Donald Henke, Gary Henke (Andrea), and James Henke (Brigid) and one daughter, Karen Nicholl (Peter) , as well as thirteen grandchildren: Mikaela, Abigail, Jack, Emma, Joseph, Maggie, Luke, Grace, Peter, Andrew, Sean, Danny, and Mary Kate.   Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his third son Kenneth, whose memory was always close to his heart.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Edward's name to Immaculate Conception Church - Old Monroe, The Vincent DePaul Society of Immaculate Conception, Old Monroe and Masses for the repose of his soul.
