Elaine V. Allrich

Allrich, Elaine Versteeg, of St. Charles, MO, died on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Dr. Rudolph S. Allrich; cherished daughter of the late Rev. Dr. John and Edna Versteeg; devoted mother of Paul R. (Judy) Allrich, Ted C. (Darci) Allrich, Joseph F. (Robin) Allrich, and Ray P. Allrich; loving mother-in-law of R. Elaine Allrich; treasured grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of seven. Elaine is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Elaine is preceded in death by her sons: Carl J. Allrich and Roger May Allrich, and her brothers:  Sherwood Versteeg, Robert Versteeg, and Virgil Versteeg.

Mrs. Allrich was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree. She worked five years as an accountant, volunteered at the Emmaus Home for 15 years, was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha in California, a member of P.E.O. in St. Charles, a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, and the Sinawik Club.

Elaine will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
