Elda “Susie” Prinster

Elda “Susie” Prinster (nee Roderick) of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Prinster; cherished daughter of the late Eli and Sara Roderick; devoted mother of Randy (Cindi) Prinster and Kent (Kim) Prinster; loving grandmother of Stephanie (Mike) Weicht, Randal (Ashley) Prinster, Jr, Ashley Bodwell, Bradley Prinster; treasured great-grandmother of C.J. Donnell, Logan Prinster, Dylan Prinster, Cameren Jansen, Ellie Bodwell, and Aubrie Prinster; and sister-in-law of Tootsie Wortman and Gladys Hackmann. Elda was preceded in death by her sisters Clarice Coleman and Clara May McKeethern.

Elda, a devout Catholic, was a longtime parishioner of St. Barnabus Catholic Church. She was also an enormously talented cook, who will be remembered for her delicious cakes, pies, and her fantastic peach cobbler – all made from scratch. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend to many, who was dearly loved, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
