Eleanor Nancy Sanders

Eleanor "Nora" Sanders (nee Gipson), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Willard L. Sanders; cherished daughter of the late David and Martha Gipson; devoted mother of Roger Sanders, David (Nancy) Sanders, Randy (Linda) Sanders, Kevin Sanders; loving grandmother of Jamie (Von) Vogt, Katie (Heath) Hunsaker, Kayla Sanders, Bryce Sanders; treasured great-grandmother of Landon Vogt, Logan Vogt, Reagan Vogt, Myla Hunsaker, Jaden Hunsaker and Maria Henderson. She is preceded in death by two infant children, Austin Sanders and Nancy Sanders; one grandson, Raymond Sanders, six sisters and four brothers.

Nora, born in Buckhorn, Missouri, was a warm and welcoming woman who never met a stranger. She had a giving heart and was always willing to help those in need. A woman of strong faith, Nora was a devoted Prayer Warrior who found comfort in her beliefs. She loved spending time with her family, both immediate and extended, cherishing those connections above all. Nora enjoyed reading and playing games such as dominos, cards, and Go Fish. She enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. She was an excellent cook who brought joy to others through her meals. Throughout her career, she worked at Mosley Electronics and KMD Linens. Nora was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Nora's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
