Eleanor V. Fey

Eleanor Viola Fey (nee Thomure), of Braselton, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the age of 99. Loving wife of the late Wolter Fey; beloved daughter of the late Emmett and Leona Thomure; devoted mother of Gary (Karen) M. Wright; cherished grandmother of Debbie (Carl) Bearden, Todd (April) Wood, Tommy (Paula) Wood, Sherry (Joe) Orr, and Steven (Leigh) Wright; great-grandmother of many. Eleanor is also preceded in death by her daughter, Billie Jean Wood, her brother, Delmar L. Thomure; and her special nieces, Lori (Carl) Hubbard and Linda (Mike) Peterson.

Eleanor worked as a secretary and archivist at the Military Personnel Record Center for many years before retiring. She was a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE). Eleanor was very faithful within the Lutheran faith. Eleanor was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Eleanor's name to a charity or organization of the donor's choice.
