Elizabeth A. “Betty” Siesennop

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Siesennop (nee Tesson) of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Saturday February 24, 2018, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Elmer J. Siesennop; cherished daughter of the late Elvy and Rose Tesson; devoted mother of Cheryl L. (Gary) Lhamon, Mary R. (Eddie) Murray, Katherine (Terry) Burdess, Edward L. (Karen) Siesennop, Joan Busby, Patricia A. (Gregory) Geisz, John J. (Amy J.) Siesennop, and Amy E. (Rick) Palitzsch; loving grandmother and great grandmother of many; treasured great-great grandmother of one. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her siblings Elvin Tesson and Helen Renner. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Elizabeth was a dedicated member of Assumption Catholic Church in O’Fallon, Missouri and cherished the memory of saying the Rosary with Mother Angelica. She enjoyed using her sewing talents to quilt as well as make Easter dresses and school uniforms for Assumption Catholic School. She loved to bowl, dance, complete crossword puzzles and read, and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Elizabeth was also a talented cook and enjoyed family barbeques, canning and spending time in the kitchen. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and dogs. Elizabeth was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
