Volmert, Elizabeth "Betty", of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the age of 85. Dear daughter of the late Frank Guenther and Mary (nee: Loeffler) Guenther. Elizabeth is survived by her four sons, Frank (Denise) Volmert, Ray (Sondra), Kenny (Jodi) and Tom (Lillian), and her four daughters, Alice (Ed) Lewis, Carol (John) Rose, Nancy (Sam) Morrison and Kathy (Glenn) Puder; her grandchildren Christine (Gorden), Nicholas (Rebecca), Elizabeth (Nathan), Kiersten (Gaetano), Derek (Shauna), Sam (Cheryl), Glen, Crystal (John), Dawn (Michael), Craig (Christi), Theresa (Jeff), Keith, Jodi (Wes), Jamie, Michelle, Ryan, Brandie, Ashley, and Olivia; Great-Grandchildren, Allison, Ashley, Heather, Emily, Bailey, Dylan, Gaetano, Serena, Tori, Tannah, Tia, Kathleen, Katelyn, Cera, Johnny, Jeri May, Michael, Jason, Meghan, Heather, Shelby, Lyndsey, Gage, Tate, Breck, Reese, Chase, and Harper; and her great-great grandchildren Macaela, Jeremy, and Anthony; four brothers and two sisters. She is preceded in death by her sister Catherine Roeper and her former spouse and dear friend Leonard Volmert. Betty was an active member of All Saints Parish in St. Peters. In addition to acting as the business manager for the family business, Len's Service, for over twenty years, she worked at St. Luke's Health Center, Dottie's, Greg's House of Fashion, and Government Employees Mart. Since her retirement, she has worked as a volunteer at Barnes St. Peters. While there, she utilized her love of crocheting to make infant caps for the newborns and blankets for the cancer patients.
