Elizabeth Ann Oppermann

Elizabeth Ann Oppermann (nee Tranthem) of Fredericktown, MO, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Robert Oppermann; cherished daughter of the late Charles and Louise Tranthem; devoted mother of Victor (Karen) Dollar, Timothy A. (Sharon) Dollar, John Barr, and the late Joan Tunstall; loving grandmother of 11; treasured great-grandmother of 21; and dear sister of John (Donna) Tranthem, and Pat Miller. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her brothers James Tranthem and Fred Trantham, and sisters Dorothy Shownes and Betsy Rawie.

Elizabeth loved to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. She found joy in fishing, crappie, and boating. She also like testing her wit against game shows, playing card games, and testing her luck at the casinos. Elizabeth also loved to travel have visited Tunica and Laughlin Nevada. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan but best of all she was a wonderful, attentive grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
