Elizabeth M. “Betty” Vietmeier Henke

Henke, Elizabeth M. "Betty" Vietmeier, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the age of 89. Devoted mother of Ethel (Carl) M. Frost and Elizabeth "Liz" Jarzambek; cherished grandmother of Jean, Monica, Steven, Debbie, Jason, and the great-grandmother of Ashley, Stevie, Billy, Jessica, Matthew, August, and Kyle. Betty was loved also by many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband Julius A. Vietmeier, her second husband Dyer Henke, parents Albert P. and Mary E. Jensen, brothers Albert Jr. and Richard Jensen, and her grandson Tanner Hessey. Betty was employed as a Motor Assembler at Dove Equipment Co. during the 1960’s before she retired She was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, a member of the Wheelers and Dealers Square Dance Group, the President of the St. Charles Artist Guild, the Director of the Kitchen Band at Jaycee Village and even taught bible study at Jaycee Village as well.
