Elizabeth M. "Betty" Sommer, of St. Charles, Missouri, died with the sacraments of the church on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Urban J. Sommer; beloved daughter of the late Peter and Catherine Wyrwich; devoted mother of Jeanette (Harold) Villaveces, Mary (James) Eusterbrock, Urban Sommer, Ronald Sommer, and Richard (Sue) Sommer; cherished grandmother of 13; treasured great-grandmother of 19; dear sister of Wilhelmina Ortman; dear sister-in-law of Joan Pieper and Lucille Sommer.
Elizabeth was a lifetime member of the VFW auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidering quilt blocks for the church and making quilts for her children and grandchildren, bingo, playing cards, and going to the casino.
