Elizabeth Ruth Pfeiffer

Elizabeth Ruth Pfeiffer (nee Neely), of Cuba, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Robert William Pfeiffer; beloved daughter of the late Wes and Lillian Neely; devoted mother of Linda (the late Rodney) Smith; cherished grandmother of Rodney (Tina) Smith, Walt (Shannan) Johnson and Bo Smith; treasured great-grandmother of Tiffanie (Jason) Taylor, Andrea (John) Rallo, Tanner (Amelia) Smith, Jett Smith, Sydney Johnson, Sierra Johnson, Cheyenne Johnson and Hayden Smith; dearest great-great-grandmother of Corben, Corynne, Chance, Taylor, Giovanni, Josiah, Alaina and Owen. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother and three sisters.
Elizabeth was a wonderful seamstress, and she retired after more than 20 years with National Tayloring in St. Louis. She also enjoyed quilting in her spare time. She liked gardening, cooking, and baking, and everyone always looked forward to her delicious zucchini bread.
In her younger years, Elizabeth and her husband loved to square dance. They also enjoyed traveling, and some of their favorite spots were Hawaii and Florida.
Elizabeth cherished spending time with her family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Elizabeth's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
