Ellen Louise Krechel

Ellen Louise Krechel (nee Krechel), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021, at the age of 92. Cherished daughter of the late Roger and Ella Krechel. Dear sister of Bernice J. (George) Petry, the late Betty (Cotton) Lindner, the late Roger H. Krechel, the late William J. (Mel) Krechel, and the late Robert D. Krechel; sister-in-law of Alice Krechel and Pauline Krechel; loving aunt of Janet, Roger, Joe, David, Steve, Jane, Ann, Jenny, Dale, Deby, Stacie, and Dan; many great and great great nieces and nephews. Ellen is also preceded in death by her nephews, Billy Krechel and Bobby Krechel and great nephew, Pete Guiffrida.

Ellen was a manager at So-Fro Fabrics for many years. She was a talented seamstress, even making her own clothes. In her free time, Ellen enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening vegetables and flowers, or spending time in her yard. She was a hard worker, but family always held a special place in her heart. She was a wonderful daughter and sister who would do anything for her family. Ellen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
